Lenz Financial BBQ

Every year, my dad throws a golf tournament for all of the agents that write business through his company. The insurance companies sponsor this event and my mom and I throw a party for them the night before. We do different themes every year and it's always pretty crazy for a week before the party, but it's always a lot of fun and things turn out perfectly. Here's some pictures from this year's party.

This year our theme was a "Back yard BBQ".
Our menu:
Appetizers - vegetable tray with dip, chips with guacamole, salsa, and hummus, fruit kabobs, sushi, cheesy sausage cups.
Main Dishes and sides - Hamburgers, hotdogs, (toppings - carmelized onions, relish, sauteed mushrooms, sauerkraut, grilled pineapple, bacon, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and miracle whip) baked beans, pasta salad, corn salad, and a green salad with red onion dressing.
Dessert - strawberry shortcake, berry cobbler with ice cream, brownies, and ice cream.

Paper Flower Napkin Rings

I've been helping with a big BBQ at my parents' house and one of my assignments is to make some napkin rings with paper flowers. Here's what I came up with:

The napkins are dishtowels from the Dollar Store and the flowers are held on with ribbon. I think they turned out pretty cute!

Zach and Logan's Wedding

Hooray for weddings! Zach and Logan got married on July 11 and now I have another new sister-in-law! This is very exciting for me since I have all brothers and Ben has all brothers. It is so much fun to have girls in the family! It was a perfect day for a wedding and everything turned out beautifully. I made the huge mistake of losing my camera after the ceremony so I only have a few pictures. I love how our family is growing!!!

Jim and Michelle's Wedding

I got a new sister-in-law and niece today! Jim and Michelle got married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was a beautiful sealing and I was so happy to have been there. It was REALLY windy when we came out which made pictures difficult interesting. We found a little spot on the side with some protection from the sun and wind and were able to get some good shots. Since Jessica Willis was doing the official pictures, I mostly just took pictures of my family/kids waiting for their turn in front of the lens. Here's the 'behind the scenes' day in photos. (Warning: there's WAY too many pictures in this post.)

When we were done at the temple, we went over to Kim and Justin Walker's house and spent most of the afternoon with them. Kim and I were pregnant at the same time and she had her little girl, Navie, only 2 days before I had Tori. They are both so big now! Kim has a new little girl, Harlow, who is only a few weeks old. It was so much fun to see them!
