Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's Day. Every year, Ben sends me flowers. I love hearing the doorbell ring and knowing that it's a box of flowers!!! This year, my box of flowers also had a box of chocolates, lavender bath goodies, and a teddy bear. Two weeks later, my flowers still look like this:

Snow Day!

I love waking up to snow. It's so pretty! My kids were thrilled. School was canceled so they threw coats and boots over their pajamas and ran outside.

Calvin and Hobbes

I love Calvin and Hobbes. We have books and books of this comic strip and a lot of them are so funny that I actually laugh out loud. I can't read them before I fall asleep or I just lie in bed and laugh. My favorite strip is this one:

And thanks to my amazing brother-in-law, Zach, it's now hanging on my wall. Yes, he drew this. I know, he's the best. Ever. This will probably be the first thing you see when you walk in my house. I know. I'm a lucky woman. Thanks, Zach.

Ben and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in Hawaii this year. Time to start dieting again!

I usually forget to take pictures of my favorite flowers before I sell them, but these are some that I made recently. The denim ones are separate, I wore just one of them, but I found the other on the floor and stuck it in my hair too.

Do you ever...

Do you ever feel like sitting in a recliner wearing an old t-shirt and your favorite sweater and eating chicken salad straight out of the bowl? Yeah.... me too. It's that kind of day.

Buzz

If you remember, Tyler cut his hair last week at school. Why did he have his scissors out during handwriting practice? I don't know. We let him walk around for a few days with weird hair, but I just couldn't handle it anymore. So, Ben put him in the shower and buzzed it. I think he looks much better now. His head is a little cold, but that's what hats are for.
