Haven't Posted in a While
Sometimes the only way we can calm Tori down is to bury her in blankets, pillows, etc. Then we turn on the obnoxious music from her swing and she is happy. Don't ask because I don't understand either.
I think Nicole looks like she is 5 years old in this picture, when in actuality she is only 2 and a half! She seems older to us than she is I think because she has been talking for forever and has been potty trained for a while now. Yeah, she is going to be more trouble than she is worth I think. I'm mostly kidding of course.
Our cheesy little boy. His new favorite activity is to go on a bike ride with me as soon as I get home from work. He rides his little bike and I tow Nicole on my bike. We go 4 laps around our circle which is actually a 1 mile bike ride. I thought that seems like a lot for a little boy's legs, but then I remembered that he is just that. A little boy who doesn't know any better.

My huge baby

I am utterly depressed.
Well, there is not much to explain. The Lakers choked away a 24 point lead last night in the Finals against Boston. In L.A.'s defense, I guess it is hard to win when you're playing with your hands wrapped around your own throat, but I digress.
It is a little weird how much this is bothering me. They have lost games before, lost in the playoffs, got beaten in the Finals, and have even missed the playoffs entirely. When those things happened I was not happy, but it took me about 3.72354 seconds to get over it. Not this time though!
For example, literally the first thought that popped into my head this morning when I woke up was, "I can't believe they lost that game!" How bizarre is that? I normally listen to sports talk radio at my desk all day, and have been known to peruse ESPN.com on occassion. But I just can't bring myself to do either today! And I know I won't be watching SportsCenter until Sunday at the earliest and that is only if the Lakers manage to pull their heads out of their, uh, (can I say rectal cavity or is that too gross?) rear ends and win on Sunday.
I can't believe how bitter/saddened I am by this development; I am not used to these feelings, and therefore do not deal with them very well, so bear with me as I navigate this uncharted (for me) territory.

Because It's Funny

We're bad parents
So, I'm pretty sure that my son should be singing the itsy bitsy spider or something sweet and innocent, but this is what he hears when mommy's cleaning the house, so this is what he's learning. After you watch the video you'll see why I'm switching to instrumental music. But I still think this is freaking hilarious and I don't feel too bad about it. For those of you who don't automatically recognize the song, it's Get Low by Flo Rida. Here's the words that he's attempting to sing:
Shawty had them apple bottom jeans (jeans) Boots with the fur (with the fur) The whole club was looking at her She hits the floor (she hits the floor) Next thing you know Shawty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low Them baggy sweat pants And the Reebok's with the straps (with the straps) She turned around and gave that big booty a smack (hey) She hits the floor (she hits the floor) Next thing you know Shawty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low
