Imagination can be a killer
Okay, so my kids are really getting good at using their imagination. They play with imaginary animals a lot. The current favorite is the pretend Pygmy Marmoset. (For those of you who don't watch Go, Diego, Go, a pygmy marmoset is a small monkey.) Right now they are playing with imaginary lightsabers. Unfortunately, we apparently only have one imaginary lightsaber. I kid you not, they are fighting over something that doesn't exist. It is an imaginary toy and it is invisible and they can't touch it, but they are still fighting over it. Wow. Only my kids could come up with something like that. Believe it or not, most of the time they get along quite well! In the small amount of time it took to type this, they have since resolved the issue by putting the imaginary lightsaber in the refrigerator because, obviously, it was getting too hot. I'm telling you, I'm not creative enough to make this stuff up so it has to be true. Now they are playing "pelota"--which is spanish for "ball" for those of you who don't regularly watch Dora the Explorer. See, who says kids tv isn't educational? What will these little rascals think up next?
